Hi, I’m Nick Erber-LaPierre

Trauma leaves a mark, but it doesn't have to have the last word. I'm a licensed mental health counselor with over 20 years of experience helping people heal from what they've carried, find language for what they've never been able to say, and build a life that feels more fully their own.

I work with anyone who has experienced trauma, whether that's a single defining event, years of relational wounds, childhood pain, or the slow accumulation of living in a world that wasn't built with you in mind. I have particular depth working with men navigating emotional expression and identity, LGBTQIA+ individuals and couples, and people whose faith and spirituality are central to who they are and how they heal.

My approach is honest, relational, and grounded in compassion. I don't believe healing requires you to have it all figured out before you walk through the door. You just have to be willing to show up. I'll meet you there.

Individual Therapy

Individual therapy is a one-on-one therapeutic process where a licensed mental health professional works collaboratively with a client to explore thoughts, feelings, and behaviors in a confidential setting to promote healing, personal growth, and positive change.

Men's Work

Men's work is the sacred journey of mature masculinity where men courageously face their shadows, reclaim their authentic power, and step into accountable brotherhood to heal generational wounds and embody the integrated warrior, lover, magician, and king within.

Accepted Insurances

Clients are responsible for the full cost of therapy, regardless of insurance coverage. While I do accept most major insurance plans in Washington, coverage can vary widely depending on your individual policy. It is the client’s responsibility to verify their mental health benefits, copays, deductibles, and any limitations. If there are discrepancies or issues with insurance reimbursement, the client is ultimately responsible for resolving them and covering any outstanding balance.

For those paying privately, my rates are as follows:

Initial Intake Session: $225 (one-time fee)
Ongoing Therapy Sessions: $175 per 60-minute session

Please note that I have a 48-hour cancellation policy. Cancellations made less than 48 hours in advance or missed appointments (no-shows) will be charged the full session fee.
